Jessie joined Thacker Caskets in April 2025, bringing more than 20 years of diverse experience in sales and business development across the healthcare, commercial banking, and municipal finance consulting sectors. His career spans successful roles in both corporate and private environments, including entrepreneurship and small business leadership.

Jessie is known for his strong background in client relationship management, strategic marketing, and revenue generation through consultative selling and community engagement. His ability to build and nurture long-term partnerships has consistently driven growth and success throughout his professional journey.

A proud graduate of Wayne State University, Jessie earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He was also a standout leader and three-year starting defensive back on the university’s football team. While known for his calm demeanor off the field, he was recognized as a fierce competitor and a motivator who led by example.

Throughout his career, Jessie has led high-performing teams, negotiated complex contracts, and generated multimillion-dollar growth through thoughtful planning and trusted relationships.

Outside of work, Jessie enjoys golfing, watching both college and professional sports, and spending quality time with his family. A native Detroiter, he proudly supports the Lions, Pistons, and Tigers. He also enjoys the occasional fine cigar with friends as a way to relax and reflect.
